For us, digital nomads, our homes are more than a place of comfort. They are a place of making our dreams come true and a place where we make a living. On the outside, people admire us taking our work wherever we go and having the comfort of working in your pajamas, but there is a darker tone to it.

We spend our days slouching over our laptops for hours and hours. That’s what we are programmed to believe we need to do. We spend our days oblivious of the facts that we are ruining our health and mind.

Joudka Aurimas will be our guest health guru for today’s podcast. He is here to keep our backs straight but also straighten our digital nomad lifestyle.  Joudka is a former Military Service member and Engineer, turned Human Performance & Health Expert and Wellness Entrepreneur.

He specializes in helping people excel in life physically, mentally and spiritually. His clients are busy, neglecting their health, not sleeping, stressed and takes them to a place where they’re confident, have more energy, feel better, and as a byproduct can excel in any area of their life!

Remotrepreneur’s Insights:

  • Keeping Your Body Active – AJ says movement is key when you’re a digital nomad because the sitting position you’re in is not doing your any good for your health. Movement helps pump blood through your body and keeps you fresh while working.
  • Implementing Routines Throughout The Day – Routines are crucial if you want to lead a healthier lifestyle. Try implementing a morning and evening routine with few tips and tricks.
  • Nutrition Is Sacred – It’s important what kind of gas you’re putting into your body. That’s why AJ says it’s important to have the right healthier meals. He even busts a few myths when it comes to ‘traditional’ healthy foods.

Meal times must be sacred. That’s one of the times when I’m not listening to a podcast, I’m not working, I’m not watching a YouTube video, I’m not texting, my phone is away. I’m sitting down and I’m actually connecting with my food.
